Coated cermet is a grade that uses cermet as the substrate with a PVD coating. This is the worlds first coated cermet. Coated cermet displays superior wear and shock impact resistance. Therefore making it suitable for high speed interrupted machining. It also displays excellent machining properties when conducting dry, interrupted machining.
