  • Increased stability
    “Black Super Smooth Coat” is used for the periphery of the insert. An extremely smooth surface prevents abnormal damage such as welding and chipping and provides stable cutting for prolonged periods. Additionally, it can increase the quality of the component surface finish.
  • For higher wear resistance
    The Alumina (Al2O3) layer is controlled with the use of “alumina crystal growth control technology” and exhibits far superior wear resistance than conventional alumina. It has high adhesion to the TiCN layer beneath for long and reliable tool life.
  • For higher fracture resistance
    The fibrous TiCN layer of extremely finely-grained and tough TiCN crystal gives superior fracture resistance compared to the previous coatings.
